	TIGRA offers a wide varierty of thousands of standard and special reversible knives and edge rounding knives in different carbide grades. Due to our large stock and our efficient production methods on highly accurate special machines, we can help you to drastically reduce your delivery times. We also specialize in producing special reversible knives according to your drawings.
	In 1984, TIGRA started the world's first serial producion for profile blanks for woodworking tools. Ever since then, TIGRA has continuously improved production methods and developed special carbide grades for blanks. Together with our customers, TIGRA has also designed a wide variety of special blanks. Permanent quality control and efficient machines offer you the optimum blanks at competitive prices.
	In addition to the back corrugated HSS of excellent quality, TIGRA offers two carbide blank systems which incorporate the carbide blank and the backing plate with high precision positioning. With this, both the SuperPac (with a back corrugated carbide blank) and the EcoPac (with two precision bored holes) can be resharpened several times which gives you an excellent price-performance ratio.
	TIGRA offers you a big variety of inserts for all your planing applications. This includes knives for portable planers and reversible knives for spiral cutters. TIGRA offers thin planer knives of solid carbide, HSS and tungsten carbide tipped planer knives as well as all planer knives for the Systems Tersa, Terminus, Centrolock, Centrostar and Bulldozer.
	TIGRA is the perfect supplier of carbide for brazed cutters. We offer a large assortment of carbide strips. We produce carbide tips for brazed cutters and for router bits within only a few working days according to your drawing. Save additional time and money when grinding: TIGRA produces the preformed tips with a very high degree of accuracy and tight tolerances which translates to less time needed for grinding.
	TIGRA also stocks carbide rods for woodworking. Choose between 325 mm / 12-1/4 inch long rods and ready cut rods of different diameters. We offer inch- as well as mm-dimensions. New! all ground rods in fixed lengths starting from a diameter of 6 mm will be delivered chamfered without surcharge!
	TIGRAlloy, a cutting material consisting of a mixture of hard chromium and tungsten carbide that is embedded in a tough cobalt matrix. The grain size of the carbide is very small and is consistently embedded in the cobalt. This results in an ideal combination of high hardness and high toughness. Therefore, TIGRAlloy is an ideal cutting material for any kind of solid wood. In addition to the good wear resistance, there is a high heat resistance. Very good brazeability allows the opportunity to grind extremely sharp cutting edges. TIGRAlloy can be used for the production of ground knives and blanks and for the production of brazed cutterheads.
